2019 CRCL Presentation Proposal form
Southeastern Wisconsin Watersheds Trust, Inc. (Sweet Water) is now accepting presentation proposals for its 2019 Clean Rivers, Clean Lake Conference that will be held at Alverno College’s Sister Joel Read Center on November 14, 2019. This year’s theme will be Leveraging Experience for Future Success.
The conference theme was selected to showcase our shared past experiences and our goals for the future. Where were we 10 years ago? How much progress have we made? Where should we set our sights and put our efforts next? How do we leverage our past experiences and what we’ve learned to reach our future goals?
Presenter Proposals will be due no later than FRIDAY, AUGUST 23 AT 11:59 PM.
'Shed Talks will be due no later than FRIDAY, AUGUST 30 AT 11:59 PM.
Presentation topics include, but are not limited to:
Agricultural Issues and Best Practices
Environmental Justice / Community Engagement
Inspirational Projects and Practices
Policy and Regulatory Issues
Length of Presentation
We anticipate scheduling sessions that are either 60 minutes or 90 minutes in length. As in past years, it is possible that presentations on similar topics may be combined into one session. In the spirit of this year's conference theme, we encourage group or panel presentations that incorporate multiple viewpoints, approaches, or disciplines.
In addition to individual and panel presentation sessions, Sweet Water is accepting applications for individuals to share a water story via a Ted Talk-style format. The purpose of these ‘Shed Talk sessions is to showcase inspirational experiences, projects and practices in a fun and interesting way.
Applicants should record a video of their ‘Shed Talk and share it with Sweet Water via a link (YouTube or Vimeo) using the form below. We can also make other arrangements for applicants (e.g. flash drive, etc.) to submit video as needed.
