Hello,

The site is set up so that all can see responses but only those that have registered can reply.

The site is not actively moderated, for now. Your reply posts immediately.
If something is posted that is inappropriate, it can be removed by the administrator.

The admin person is the only person initiating topics right now; the sight was set up to discuss and get feedback on the Watershed Restoration Plans for both the KK and the Menomonee Rivers.

If you have ideas for topics that aren't currently covered, email bberdes@mmsd.com with your ideas.

Is there anybody out there?

All non-"admin" posts - Joseph Boxhorn on 6/10/09, Gail Epping Overholt on 7/27/09, Gail Epping Overholt on 7/30/09, Joseph Boxhorn on 7/31/09, and John Hacker on 8/4/09 - have gone unanswered.

It looks to me like only users with administrator status can initiate topics.

My hope was that my post back in June would have generated some clarification of who can initiate topics and of what the folks running this forum envision it being used for, but they have not responded.

If you are looking for this to be a discussion forum, the following would help:

1. Post an FAQ regarding the range of topics appropriate (and not appropriate) for discussion, the moderation procedures, and such other housekeeping details as are necessary.

2. Give users the ability to initiate topics.
